VAMOS A MINORQUE

Good morning guys!

I’m finally done with the retouch a of my trip in Menorca and I’ll explain you everything!
Menorca is a little island in the Balearic (in front of Barcelona) famous for its horses rides and its small beaches.
We traveled from Paris with a crew of bloggers (see on the last pic!) and spent 2 days there.

We stayed at the Hotel Rural Sant Ignasi, a peaceful and colorful place. Small old rooms with a little balcony, perfect for 2 quiet nights. We arrived around 3pm at the hotel and left right the way to keep us busy.

Hello hello!!

We first went to the beach 15 minutes away from our hotel and could enjoy the wonderful landscapes that the beach was offering. As you can see, it was amazing, at the moment Menorca was quite empty because it’s not the holiday season here so it was the best time for us to be around.

Then we went to my favorite part of that trip, the horse riding over the sea. It was just amazing, riding a horse at night with the sunset, look at the pics I tried to take with my phone (not bad actually!!) and enjoy.

We finally came back at the hotel at 10pm to grab some tapas before heading to a special place the team reserved us a little surprise and such a cool one.
We went to a bar-club named Cova D’en Xoroi (have a look on the link below) and appreciated some gin tonics there. We couldn’t see the total view but we could imagine, it was incredible (confirmation with the images…).

On the second day, we had to get up pretty early even if we slept a few hours (I’m not complaining of course! And I love to be awake early in the moment it feels like you don’t loose time), and left the hotel with 2 jeeps to explore the island. We had visited the historic places and went on the top of a mountain to appreciate a wonderful landscape.

Minorque is a small island whee you need a car to drive around (if you wanna visit of course and not only staying in the hotel)
so I advise you to do that because you have to see it.

The next step was a stop at a cheese industry, really local where I bought some raw cheese (and you know how French love cheese haha) and we had a break for lunch.

We ate at a local restaurant, named Es Cranc famous for his lobsters and paellas. It was SO GOOD! Look at the size of the paella, you can’t imagine how much food we had! Well, we were full so we had to go back to get some rest (the night was short 😝) so we appreciated the pool with a iced coffee at the hotel. I admire that I slept a little..

The last part of the plan was a short visit of the Ciutadela and enjoying a nice diner by the terrace of the **** restaurant.

We came back right after diner at the hotel, everyone wanted to sleep!

It was time to leave this wonderful island in the morning. I wanted to thanks particulary Vueling, our partner in this trip to let us discover this little piece of paradise and our crew who was so good, we really had much fun and it’s so much better to have the right people with you when you travel, it makes it easier!

Hope you enjoyed as well and it get you inspired.
